[Hw] Funny Christmas Eve!!

I had a good time celebrating Christmas Eve this year!! Thank God!!

This is my second time to stay in the church for Christmas. I was so excited because there were many activities we can enjoy. First, we had delicious food including three turkeys and 羊肉爐!How generous~!! Then we had a play which was told about the birth of Jesus. It was amusing because the "actor" who played the role of "Maria" . Then CSMU campus had danced with sticks and magic hat. CMU campus had hot dance. And NTIT campus sang worldwide Christmas songs. How interesting! But the most important was, that we had understand why we celebrate Christmas because the birth of Jesus. Jesus came, and he saved people in the fire and water with God's words. So, we give thanks on this day.

Later I went home. There were three people busy. They were my friends and we had decided to cook by ourselves. So I had another 羊肉爐 again!! We were chatting, eating, watching TV. It was surely a good time!

I had a unforgettable Christmas this year. How was yours?

[Half-HW] The Song - Moon River

Moon river
Artist:Andy Williams
Moon river, wider than a mile
I'm crossing you in style some day
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you're goin', I'm goin' your way
Two drifters, off to see the world
There's such a lot of world to see
We're after the same rainbow's end, waitin' 'round the bend
My huckleberry friend, Moon River, and me
(Moon river, wider than a mile)
(I'm crossin' you in style some day)
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker
Wherever you're goin', I'm goin' your way
Two drifters, off to see the world
There's such a lot of world to see
We're after that same rainbow's end, waitin' 'round the bend
My huckleberry friend, Moon River, and me
(Moon River, Moon River)

"Moon River" is a song composed by Johnny Mercer and Henry Mancini in 1961. It was sung in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's by Audrey Hepburn, the movie's star, while the song itself won that year's Academy Award for Best Song for Mercer and Mancini. Mercer and Mancini originally wrote the song for Hepburn to fit the actress. "It's completely the song of Audrey Hepburn," Henry Mancini said. The harmony of "Moon River" emerged when he was looking at Audrey. It was released by South African singer Danny Williams, who got a UK number 1 with an incredible interpretation. This song reminded us of the past childhood, and then made us think of the reality of this social world.

[HW] Who's he?

He who's in the picture is a friend of mine, named Doggie. He was in a play and in the character of a rogue. There was a Cigarrate in his hand, this made he look annoying. What in his mind now in this play was how to ask for money from someone with violence. In fact, he was a dun.

[HW] Games are as important for children as they are for adults

We are born into the world and most of us have opportunities to learn. The way of learning is various. For growing kids, we use interesting games to accelerate their creativity and the ability to organize. Because children are easily attracted by funny things and give response, games are nice for them to learn new things.
However, are games not important for adults? For me, my answer is yes. Although adults use more efficient methods to gain new knowledge, they still need different and special manner to stimulate their creation-losing brain.
Don't you think games are important for both children and adults? I do consider it is.

[HW] Why do you think some people are attracted to dangerous sports or other dangerous activities?

There are many types of sports or activities, and most people choose simple ones to practice. However, minority of people would rather choose dangerous activities, like bungie jumping, surfing, playing hang-glider. Those activities are all dangerous because uncertain climate factors or they are constitutively dangerous.
For most people, life is precious and fragile. As a matter of course, we would choose to avoid dangerous activities. Nevertheless, small number of people like to take dangerous activities. In my opinion, it's not because they don't attach importance to their lives. They are more self-confident to challenge the limit. They think these activities can bring excitement and get close to the origin impression of life. When the moment getting close to death, they have strong feeling that the life is real.
In conclusion, it's nice to challenge new things. But, before you go do it, don't forget safety is still important.
